Obama: Access Denied

Now that Obama is no longer President, he'll have even MORE time to golf (as if he didn't play enough while in office).  He's already played 306 times in the past 8 years according to obamagolfcounter.com.  Ok, so he's got nothing on me, but that is a LOT for a President.   He's recently purchased a home in D.C. and members at the exclusive Woodmont Country Club have corroborated to deny him membership.  See, Woodmont is an exclusive Jewish owned club and their resentment is due to Obama's recent decision not to have the U.S. veto a U.N. Security Council resolution that was critical of Israeli settlements in East Jerusalem and the West Bank, and from Secretary of State John Kerry's speech days later accusing Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu of undermining the possibility of a two-state solution.

"(President Obama) has created a situation in the world where Israel's very existence is weakened and possibly threatened," longtime member Faith Goldstein wrote in a December 26th email obtained by the Washington Post.  "He is not welcome at Woodmont.  His admittance would create a storm that could destroy our club."

To quote Al Czervik, Woodmont is a, "Crummy snobitorium."

Pretty hypocritical coming from a club that was established because Jews couldn't get in anywhere else in the D.C. area!  I've heard Woodmont is very nice, but damn, you won't even let a brotha play the South Course doe?  My advice to Obama:  Fuck em.  Go to Congressional!!!

Michelle Wie and Danielle Kang: Undercover Lovers?

If you follow these two LPGA stars on social media, you can't help but notice the extremely close relationship they have.  Michelle affectionately refers to Danielle as her "lil sis" and is constantly comment creepin and trolling her on Instagram.  The two recently spent a month together in Hawaii.

The two young ladies are both reportedly single.

There are many more candid pictures of them on their Instagram accounts.  With Golf.com's recent article of 2017's most beautiful women in golf naming Danielle and NOT Michelle, you have to wonder if the salt Michelle is feeling is not just coming from those Hawaiian waves?

DL3 Breaks Collarbone

Davis Love III broke his collarbone the other day while snowboarding with his college-aged son Dru in Idaho.  He was supposed to play in the Sony Open next week and will now be riding pine for 12 weeks.  Will you please sit your old ass down somewhere!  You're not 20 years old anymore.  Stick to coaching Ryder Cups and sit in the lodge and have some merlot with the other 50 somethings!

Costco's Titleists

Everyone is all up in arms, literally, trying to grab a 2 dozen pack of Costco's Kirkland Signature 4-Piece Urethane "tour ball".  For $29.99 for two dozen it is a remarkable deal when compared to Titleist's Prov1's and Pro V1X's that retail for around $55 for one dozen.  This Dew Sweeper has a theory that perhaps these Kirkland Signature balls are just old Pro V's rebranded!

Given that Titleist is rolling out a brand new Pro V in 2017, it would make since for the company to grab even more share of the ball market simply using their leftovers.  

In addition, Costco is not disclosing which company is manufacturing the balls, only that it is a Korean company.  Hmm, Srixon?  Volvik?  Experon?  I'd bet that Acushnet is behind this and laughing all the way to the bank.  See the incredibly similar ball statistics below.
